Stacey Edward Harris is an actor, producer and writer who lives between London and Glasgow. She studied at LA’s premier acting school, the Baron Brown Studio.  Her sci-fi short, The Breakaway, which she co-wrote with Steph Read, was selected to screen at Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Stacey is currently working on a feature film screenplay.

AJ Sykes is a distinguished filmmaker whose work has been showcased at over 50 international festivals, earning more than 30 nominations and securing 15 awards, including appearances at BAFTA and BIFA-accredited festivals. She has led screenwriting workshops across Europe and directed the groundbreaking music video Heard, part of the world’s first augmented reality album. Her extensive industry experience includes shadowing her mentor, director Douglas Mackinnon, on Good Omens. During the COVID-19 lockdown, she directed Project 19, an international remote film project that involved collaborating with actors across the globe. AJ holds a Master’s in Directing & Screenwriting, an MFA in Advanced Film Practice, and a DSMS in Stage Management and Television Production from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Beyond filmmaking, she is also an award-winning actress, has exhibited her medium format black-and-white photography in multiple venues, and produced the album cover for A Band Called Quinn’s Red Light Means Go. Currently, AJ is working on several feature films and TV series pitches. She is a member of the 2023/24 BAFTA Connect cohort and is represented by RA Agency. #NeverMindTheBollocks here comes the Directors.

Laura McBride is the founder of Lothian Films, an Edinburgh-based production company which champions diverse voices and women writers and directors. Projects include; BFI Network short films SCUZZ (Alia Ghafar), BAFTA Scotland nominated GROOM (Leyla Coll-O’Reilly), LFF Short Film Award nominee THE SINGER (Cora Bissett & Jamie Rea) and currently in post-production SLEAZY TIGER (James Ley).

Laura also co-produces with John McKay at Compact. Feature projects on their joint slate include; THE PHARMACIST, an adaptation of Rachelle Atalla’s Sunday Times Paperback of the Week which is in funded development with BFI, LOVE SONG TO LAVENDER MENACE, James Ley’s sparkling adaptation of his award-winning play to be directed by Berlinale Talent Savvas Stavrou which is in funded development with Screen Scotland, Less is More selected GIFT FROM GOD the debut feature from writer and director Catriona MacInnes and PRICKER by Scottish BAFTA winner Cora Bissett in development with Screen Scotland via BFI Network.

Laura was Associate Producer on FALLING INTO PLACE, Aylin Tezel’s romantic drama, a co-production between Compact and Silver Bear-winning Weydemann Bros of Berlin. She is currently in post-production as Associate Producer on TORNADO, John Maclean’s second feature film (after SLOW WEST), a period Survival Thriller produced by Leonora Darby at Tea Shop Productions.
