Like a good kid by Arian Vazirdaftari | Iran | 2018 | Matin, a 5 year old boy tells Sara, his babysitter, a story about last night…


Play by Vangelis Liberopoulos | Greece | 2018 | Most adults dream of staying in childhood forever and going through life like in a game, free of society’s rules and restrictions. Five employees in a metal company put this dream into effect. What they find is that you may escape the rules but you can’t escape the consequences or your personal responsibility.


Smack Edd by Greg Hall | UK | 2018 | Heroin addict Edd unexpectedly turns up to his son Patrick’s eighth birthday celebration, Mum Fran and her new partner Mark must do everything to make sure he doesn’t ruin the party. A social realist slice-of-life that looks at the consequences of addiction through the relationships of a dysfunctional family.


Black Eyed Susan by Dylan Doornbos Hayes | US | 2018 | The story of a young woman, victim of domestic violence, in a suburban US desert town.


Counter Balance by Anuradha Rana | US | 2018 | A foot balances precariously on a slick floor. A wheel turns and poses en pointe. They meet and overlap to balance memory and loss, presence with absence.


Fifth Floor on the Left by Renata Lučić | Croatia | 2018 | When Maja’s parents come to Zagreb to visit their daughter, Nika and Maja cover their faces with masks and start playing the game Nika has grown very tired of.


Stolen by Dean Marriott | Germany | 2018 | Inspired by the Stolen Babies Scandal which took place in Spain during the Franco era, this bilingual German-Spanish short film brings ethics, religion, language and the exploitation of vulnerable women into question.


Madrid Moments by Stacey Menchel Kussel & Lewis Landini | Spain | 2019 | Momentos Madrileños (Moments from Madrid) is a tribute to Madrid and a celebration of the city’s artistic spirit.
