Best First Feature Film: How to Stop A Wedding by Drazen Kuljanin
Best Feature Film – Female Perspective: Silent Sea (Meeres Stille) by Juliane Fezer
The jury said: “It was really hard to choose from among so many wonderful short films. This is also the reason we accompany the awards with special mention for each of the short film categories, as both the winner and the special mention in each section were beautiful, inspiring and insightful cinematic experiences.
Tom in America is stunning for its mature presentation of the topic and for its great characters.
Discipline is extremely entertaining showing cross-cultural conflict.
Winter’s Journey is deeply touching and generates compassion and strong emotions from its very first minute.
A bird in a cage is inspiring and innovative for its topic and the in depth presentation of it.
How To Stop A Wedding is inventive, well made and with strong, powerful characters.
Silent Sea is a great journey, astonishing debut unique for its storytelling.”
