About the director: Yuval Hadadi was born and raised in Israel. He moved to New York in 1994, and in 1997 became co-artistic director for Absolute Theatre. In 2002 he developed and directed The Eyes Of Babylon, a one man play about a marine who fought in Iraq. The play ran for 9 years across the US and internationally and was nominated for the prestigious Drama Desk Award.
Director statement: As a gay man, the topic of gays having children becoming a consensus relatively quickly, fascinated me. I wanted Tel Aviv – a dynamic, enchanting, rough and beautiful city I fell in love with, to be the backdrop for the journey of the protagonist’s story.
